During the 2018 Formula 1 Season, Sky Sports UK followed Lollipop Founder and Photographer Joshua Paul from Monaco to Canada, New York, Hungary, Belgium, Italy and the United States Grand Prix's, documenting his work with a 1913 Graflex SLR 4x5 camera. We are extremely grateful to Sky Producer Tommy Herz, Cameraman Pete Valluet and Editor Tim Davis.  Thank you to the FIA and FOM.

Joshua Paul  Founder, Publisher & Editor in Chief.

Josh is a New York based portrait, travel and automobile photographer. He has won numerous awards from American Photography, Communication Arts, The Society of Publication Designers (SPD), Type Director's Club, and Photo District News

He has traveled to over 95 countries, usually off the beaten path:  He ran with the bulls in Pamplona, crossed the Northwest Passage on an Ice Breaker, paddled the Amazon River on a homemade raft, and rode horses across the Causcus Mountain Range in the Republic of Georgia and Azerbaijan. 

In 2013, while in Barcelona for a rock concert, he applied  to shoot the Spanish Grand Prix.  To his surprise he received FIA accreditation, and was invited to the following races in Monaco, England, and Germany, etc. He accepted the offer, missed the concert, and joined the F1 circus, shooting nine races that year.

The following season, he received Permanent Accreditation and subsequently founded Lollipop Magazine.  Since 2013, he has photographed over 75 Formula 1 Races and taken exclusive portraits of every driver.  He is the only Permanently Accredited American Photographer in Formula 1.

His favorite circuit is Monaco / His favorite race Mexico.  His favorite work of art is Alain Prost’s 1990 Ferrari 641, bolted to the wall of the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
